juz a week ago... ah dar surprised mi with a bintan trip, trip and expenses fully sponsored by him.. and i was so looking forward to a short getaway during this march hols, work had been beri stressful... so this trip was a "dar"-sent present... lol... the trip was from Thursday 15th to Saturday 17th of March...
1st day - Thursday 15th of March
Ah dar came and picked mi up wif his car and off we went to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT)... While ah dar went to check-in, i started to take photos ard the terminal~
We went into the departure area at ard 1.45pm and waited for the gate to open at 2.15pm, while waiting, we went to the DFS area to shopshop ard, in the end, we got some cans of beer, decided to leave the liquor-buying when we come back to Singapore. The gate opened at 2.15pm and off we went to board the ship~
After almost an hour of journey, we arrived at Bandar Benten Telani Terminal. After reaching and crossing the customs, we got on board the hotel transfer bus and arrived at our resort for the next few days, Nirwana Beach Club. The rooms at Nirwana Beach Club are cabana-styled, very resort-styled. After putting our things inside the cabana and taking a short rest, mi and ah dar went to the beach to have a stroll and enjoy the cool seawater...
After basking in the sun and beach, mi and ah dar went back to the cabana and had a shower. After that, we went to the nearby Nirwana Resort Hotel to check out its facilities and to wait for the shuttle back to Pasar Oleh Oleh (Place to do some souvenirs shopping and eating). While waiting, bought some liquor chocs and sat at the lobby eating while waiting...
We ordered fried rice, mushroom omelette (both forgot to take pic), stir-fried kangkong, lemon chicken & fried noodles~, food was ok nia, and the service not so good... beri slow~ After dinner, mi and ah dar walked ard Pasar Oleh Oleh and got some "groceries" for the next 2 days. This time, we got sent back to the resort by a car instead of the shuttle bus. Bintan roads at nite super dark.. no street lightings... so scary... wonder how the drivers can drive in this kind of condition. When we got back to our cabana, we watched tv and rested for the nite.
