CNY is here~
Chinese New Year is here again.. as usual.. gonna go visit relatives.. had a relatively not bad week... here's wat happened..
Monday
Went to the Gala Premiere of the movie "Protege" by Andy Lau, Daniel Wu and Louis Koo.. all "shuai ges"~~ ah dar got the invitation to the Gala Cocktail Reception for this movie.. and saw quite a lot of TCS actors & actresses at GV Vivo Max..

After that... Daniel Wu and Louis Koo arrived... so shuai lo... didn't managed to take ani photos of them... they juz zoomed by in a flash... but ah dar managed to get this pic...
And inside the cinema.. managed to get beri beri blur photos of them...
Overall, the movie was quite nice.. and educational.. mainly about drug abuse.. and promoting anti-drug abuse...beri touching ending.. the little girl inside the show is beri sweet looking...
Tuesday
Was supposed to go for a premiere of another movie, The Twins Mission... but then.. ah dar was held up by some work and couldn't make it in time.. so we had to give it a miss.. went to parkway parade instead after that.. and walked around...
Wednesday
It's Valentine's Day today.. had been wondering wat ah dar was gonna do.. He came and picked mi up after work... and presented mi with my 1st v-day gift.. a white gold necklace.. ah dar knew i'm easily sensitive to silver.. especially after long hours of wearing.. so he got me a necklace suitable for sensitive skin~, so sweet.. here's a pic of mi wearing the necklace...

My 2nd v-day present from ah dar was a $100 "hongbao" to get the stuff i liked.. ah dar then drove mi to Marina Square and bought mi to...... K-Box! I was just telling him a few days ago that i wanna sing ktv and he remembered... The K-Box at Marina Square had a Sakura Buffet Spread too.. means that while singing to ur heart's content, u get to enjoy nice nice food also.. yummy! And best of all.. mi and ah dar got the ultimate room.. the room meant for those big groups.. fully equipped with big big sofas... big tables.. and a pool table!

Saturday
Today is Chinese New Year's Eve... waiting for my sisters to reach home ... then we can have our reunion dinner.. haben really tok about my family much in this blog b4... my family consist of my Mum and 2 younger sisters, Elise and Kacia... can see their pics from my earlier entries.. My dad died since i was young, when i was 10.. so i guess due to that.. my family have quite strong ties.. especially my sisters and I.. the difference in age gap do not have much effect on us.. juz to say.. I simply LOVE my dearest family! Now... waiting for Kacia to reach home... =)

Torn ligament... ouch*
it's friday and i'm blogging at home... and not working.. no, i'm not sick.. but simply juz injured.. was playing badminton wif my colleagues yesterday, fell and twisted my ankle.. was bewildered at how come i fell.. then i realised... my sports shoes gave way... "opened" mouth le.. that's y i tripped over and fell down...
becos of this fall.. i actually tore my ligament.. and got my leg injured... yesterday nite was still quite ok , only a bit pain... this morning.. my leg got swollen.. and the pain was unbearable.. went to see a chinese sinseh...
during the treatment.. blacked out when the sinseh was "fixing" my leg... was beri painful... turned out that cos i nvr eat anithing b4 going to see the sinseh... blacked out cos nvr eat ani food b4 that... the sinseh got so worried.. and kept talking to mi to keep mi "awake" while he tried all sorts of methods to "revive" mi.. was in a state of daze and giddiness..
the sinseh even got his assistant to go to the nearby kopi shop to get food for mi... after i was fully conscious.. then he started to "wrap" my ankle.. now my ankle's swollen like a pig's trotter... T_T

Weddings,weddings and more weddings...
Here's my weekly blog update once again... hehe...Went to my cousin's wedding on Thursday evening... and once again.. the saying is so true.. a bride is always at her prettiest during her wedding day.... she looked so pretty and radiant that day.. and her wedding photos were so well taken.. so envious... i also wan my wedding photos to be so nice next time..
met up with relatives whom i usually see once a year ( during CNY) or during special occasions like this... every year will get shocks from them.. seeing my "young" cousins getting more and more mature...growing up older and older each day... couldn't even recognize some of them animore...

Can u imagine.. Cheng is only 18 yrs old.. and Wen and Jack are only 16 yrs old!.. omg.. kids nowadays look so mature..
And during the dinner.. childish mi started "fooling" ard with cute little cousin Elton.. he's only P1 this yr.. and so reminds mi of my students, so started "bickering" with him, playing little games with him.. lol ... he's so cute~
After the wedding dinner.. mi ,my sisters and David(2nd sis's bf) went to Clarke Quay area and walked ard.( The dinner area was at Novotel Clarke Quay Hotel), and we hopped into... Haagen-Dazz for a ice cream treat! Had a great time with my sisters, it's been quite long since we had gone out together and enjoyed ourselves, hehe... family bonding~ we shared a chocolate fondue and had fun fooling around~

Went for a course on Sat Morning at Raffles Girls Secondary School... after which i went to Far East Plaza and bought a pair of shoes from the shop Kacia was working in while waiting for my frenz Yiling to come... It has been a long time since i met her.. She's my frenz from NIE, and ever since we started full time teaching.. we have been meeting up less... went for lunch at the Korean restaurant at Far East Level 1, had a beri full lunch.. simply loved the side dishes.. i'm a kimchi lover!
After lunch and some shopping ard Far East Plaza, dar came and fetched mi and we went to Vivo City once again... dragged dar to Hob Nob and made him try a lot of clothes... hehe.. got 2 tops and went to counter and paid for it~ (my v-day gift to him) hehe... clothes from Hob Nob not bad and quite reasonable pricing also.. the 2 tops cost ard $130.. hehe..
Later on today(Sunday), i'm going for another wedding dinner again...my colleague's son is getting married... will update if there are ani photos~ hehe~
